Strategies for Mental Health

The National Center for Mental Health Promotion and Youth Violence Prevention works with more than 100 schools and communities to use proven strategies for mental health promotion and violence prevention. Through training, online learning, site visits, and peer exchange, the center assists communities as they serve diverse audiences.


Suicide Prevention

Suicide PreventionThe Suicide Prevention Resource Center at EDC (SPRC) provides prevention support, training, and resources to organizations and individuals who are developing suicide prevention programs, interventions, and policies, and advancing the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.

The resources emphasize a comprehensive public health-based approach to addressing alcohol and drug use, and violence, and in promoting mental health among students.
