Educational Television and Radio
EDC has a long history of developing educational programs for public television and radio, including a number of collaborations with PBS. We create original content for on-air broadcasts (television and radio), produce companion resource guides (online and in print), and serve as evaluators on various educational programs and related Web sites. Our work spans the age range of early learners to adults and includes partnerships with broadcasters in the US and abroad.

Independent News Service
|
Due to a long civil war, the people of Sudan have been denied access to impartial news sources. EDC, with funding from USAID, has developed the Sudan Independent Radio Service (SIRS) to provide the Sudanese population with unbiased information on the country's Peace Process and on such subjects as nutrition, civic rights, agriculture and culture. The project will also recruit and train Sudanese radio producers and journalists.
