PSSC Physics A Foundation in Physics

Developed during the Cold War in response to the perception that students in the United States were lagging behind in math and science, PSSC Physics focused on the fundamental principles of physics, encouraging engagement and understanding as opposed to memorization. By the early 1960s, nearly half of all high school physics students in the United States were using the innovative curriculum.


Design It!After the Bell Rings

The learning doesn’t end when the bell goes off at the end of the day. Explore It! and Design It! are two EDC programs designed for afterschool settings. Design It! presents activities in design engineering for students ages 7-12. By participating in Explore It!, children engage with familiar concepts using simple materials to foster science learning.
