February 2005 State Governments Honor EDC for Public Health Initiatives Maine and Massachusetts recognize projects focused on suicide prevention and high-risk drinking Lloyd Potter of EDC’s Health and Human Development Programs (HHD), was honored for his work with the National Suicide Prevention Resource Center, for his efforts to increase awareness and understanding of suicide. Potter was one of three awardees receiving recognition at a February 4th ceremony at the Massachusetts statehouse. Davidson, is being recognized for her work with the U.S. Department of Education's Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse and Violence Prevention.
