Blue and Green Economy Labour Market Assessment: Opportunities for Out-of-School Youth in the Philippines

The USAID Opportunity 2.0 Program and Accenture explored employment opportunities for out-of-school youth in the Philippines' blue and green economy. The report focuses on eight sectors, highlighting trends, education and employment gaps, job roles, and stakeholder dynamics. Those eight key sectors are Green Construction, Sustainable Waste Management, Green Transport, Sustainable Agriculture & Forestry, Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture, Sustainable Tourism, Renewable Energy, and Green Manufacturing. The findings are organized into four key areas: employment attractiveness, capacity building, ecosystem enablers, and inclusive growth.
