EDC at AERA Annual Meeting (4/16-20)
Join EDC researchers at the 2015 Annual Meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA), to be held April 16–20 in Chicago. This year’s meeting will explore the theme “Toward Justice: Culture, Language, and Heritage in Education Research and Praxis.”
Learn about EDC’s education research, evaluation, and policy analysis work:
- Attend EDC sessions on topics such as proficiency-based learning, curriculum implementation, sparking student interest in STEM, preschool mathematics and science education, culturally relevant game design, and professional development.
- Participate in a symposium on the U.S. Department of Education-funded Ready to Learn Initiative, where EDC’s Shelley Pasnik will present findings from the Prekindergarten Transmedia Mathematics Study led by EDC and SRI.
- Visit symposia featuring EDC’s Bernadette Sibuma and Joyce Malyn-Smith who will discuss the EDC-led STEM Learning and Research Center (STELAR) and Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST).
