Laura Dillon, senior technical advisor for Youth and Workforce Development, designs, implements, and provides technical support to youth employability and entrepreneurship programs. She has expertise working with national ministries on curriculum improvement linked to market demands, helping youth gain technical and soft skills to make them more employable, and strengthening the capacity of governmental institutions and local NGOs.
Dillon has supported EDC’s education and workforce development programs in Liberia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, and Senegal. She brings a focus on the participation of key stakeholders and sustainability to ensure that project impacts continue beyond a project’s end.
Dillon holds an MBA in International Business from George Washington University and an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University. She is fluent in French.
