Kathryn Jaksic, EDC project coordinator, specializes in identifying and analyzing the effects of structural inequities on individual and community well-being. She believes that understanding the intersectionality of environmental conditions is essential to sustaining effective community-based practices and upstream solutions. She is passionate about equity, empowerment, and well-being.
Drawing on her expertise in strategic project management, Jaksic advances the work of teams focused on promoting health equity, achieving equity in education, and amplifying the voices of people directly affected by inequity. Before joining EDC, she held case management positions specializing in community engagement and collaboration, education, and substance use.
Jaksic holds an MPH in Health Equity from Simmons University and a BS in Criminal Justice with a minor in Social Work from Champlain College.
