Redefining School-Readiness
In this opinion piece, EDC’s Katari Coleman discusses how traumatic events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and school shootings have changed the definition of school readiness. For students to be academically, socially, and emotionally ready, schools need to reconfigure curriculum and activities to address physical and mental health preparedness.
