Using Radio for Learning

Radio and other audio technology can be highly effective tools for improving student learning in some of the most challenging environments, and EDC has long used interactive audio instruction (IAI) to bring education to countries around the world. A new report, authored by EDC’s Rachel Christina and Nathalie Louge for the World Bank, examines the impact of our IAI program, its low operating costs, and its effectiveness as a training tool for teachers, especially in fragile and conflict settings.
