Private Sector Partnership and Out-of-School Youth Development: The MYDev Experience

This report examines the challenges and successes of USAID Philippines’ Mindanao Youth for Development (MYDev) program in partnering with the private sector. Working with out-of-school youth who have completed MyDev training, the private sector has provided on-the-job training, apprenticeships, and employment placement. This engagement with the private sector has been critical to MyDev’s success.
