Adam Swanson provides consultation support to state agencies, U.S. territories, and other public health systems as a senior prevention specialist at the Suicide Prevention Resource Center at EDC. He is also a member of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline’s Lived Experience Committee.
Swanson was awarded creative writing fellowships from Lambda Literary, Writing by Writers, and Emerson College. He previously worked at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, Mental Health America, and the United States Senate.
Swanson holds a Master’s of Public Policy from George Mason University and is an alumnus of George Washington University’s LGBT Health Policy and Practice Graduate Certificate Program. Currently, he is a Master of Fine Arts candidate at Emerson College.
