Amanda Emsais, research assistant, brings expertise in survey research, business development, research communications, and project coordination. She is skilled in designing surveys (e.g., Qualtrics, REDCap), conducting literature reviews, recruiting research participants, writing code for online research, and facilitating smooth research planning and execution.
Emsais advances U.S. Division initiatives, and is currently working on several health and behavioral health projects. Before joining EDC, Amanda developed and worked on university laboratory research regarding the effects of music therapy for people admitted to drug rehabilitation centers and emotional processing in people with autism spectrum disorder. She also shadowed a speech pathologist who worked with children with disabilities.
Emsais holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine. She is fluent in English and proficient in Arabic.
