Bianca Reid, training and technical assistance (TA) associate, is an experienced project leader and a public health expert specializing in adolescent reproductive health education. She designs and delivers high-quality trainings, TA, and resources that deepen understanding and build the capacity of key audiences.
Reid provides TA, professional development training, and resource development support to advance the goals of EDC’s National Center on Afterschool and Summer Enrichment and Collaborative for Advancing Health Equity in Out-of-School Time.
Before joining EDC, Reid was the senior manager of School Health Initiatives for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Previously, she led initiatives to improve the well-being and reproductive health of K–12 students and served as the Title IX Training and Development Lead for the Chicago Public Schools.
Reid co-authored an article published in Public Health Nursing. For her contributions to the field of adolescent sexual health, she was recognized as a 30 Under 30 Top Health Educator by the Society for Public Health Education.
Reid holds an MPH from DePaul University and a BA in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University.
