Courtney Arthur is a versatile and experienced instructional designer and project manager. She has expertise in managing complex multisite initiatives, mathematics education, elementary education, educational leadership, coaching, research, data analysis, curriculum development, and professional development. She is committed to improving the quality and equity of education and seeks to advance knowledge of strategies to support the whole student.
Arthur facilitates data collection, conducts classroom observations, serves as a liaison with over 80 high schools, and establishes and maintains strong partnerships with district leaders nationwide to ensure the smooth implementation of the Supporting Success in Algebra Study.
For the Mathematical Immersion for Secondary Teachers online learning project, Arthur is co-designing online courses and engaging 448 teachers in 56 schools in the courses. She also heads up outreach, manages the project’s operations, and facilitates logistics.
Arthur was an assistant principal and teacher before she joined EDC. She holds an MAT in Elementary Education and an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University, as well as an MEd in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.
