Alemnkia “Alem” Fuotulah, has over 15 years of experience in financial management, accounting, subcontracting, budgeting, project start-up/closeout, and cross-functional team coordination.
Fuotulah is EDC’s finance and operations director for the USAID Inclusive Development and Equitable Assistance (IDEA) activity, a Leader with Associate award. In this role, he ensures the project complies with U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and EDC policies, forecasts and tracks expenditures, and oversees daily financial management.
Formerly, Fuotulah worked for Chemonics International for seven years as finance and operations director in Cameroon and in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Fuotulah has a Master of Applied Leadership and Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, USA, and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He is fluent in English and French.
