Kimberly Nguyen is a research associate experienced in designing and evaluating public health programs and conducting descriptive research studies. Her interests revolve around collaborative research efforts that support health education and promotion and address health disparities across the country.
In her work with the epidemiology and evaluation teams of EDC’s Strategic Prevention Technical Assistance Center, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Nguyen advances a range of projects that promote social and emotional well-being and prevent risky behaviors. Before joining EDC, Nguyen served as a research teaching specialist at the Rutgers School of Public Health.
Nguyen holds an MPH in Epidemiology from the George Washington University. She attained a BS in Public Health and a certificate in Health Disparities from Rutgers University.
