Lori Coletti, an early education and development expert and experienced program leader, applies her deep knowledge of child development, evidence-based practices, and early learning standards to advancing programs’ continuous improvement efforts. A certified trainer in the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS®), she brings expertise in supervision and program management, curriculum, and child assessment to her work.

Coletti is the manager of pre-kindergarten (pre-K) professional development and technical assistance (TA) for EDC’s Rhode Island Center for Early Learning Professionals. She oversees and provides innovative, content-focused, research-based services to support pre-K program staff in designing and delivering high-quality services leading to improved child outcomes. For the Young Mathematicians team, Coletti provides professional development for Head Start programs on creative and effective early mathematics interventions.

Previously, Coletti oversaw EDC’s regional Early Head Start TA project and was an Early Reading First Literacy coach. Before joining EDC, she was a teacher, program director, early interventionist, and college instructor.

Coletti holds a BS in Elementary Education and Teaching and an MS in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Wheelock College.
