Meselu Mulugeta, EDC technical associate, specializes in international work readiness and entrepreneurship skills training. With her expertise as a curriculum developer, facilitator, and creative lead, she executes EDC’s Work Ready Now and Be Your Own Boss programs in Africa.
Mulugeta provides technical assistance on youth and workforce programs in several countries across Africa, including Ethiopia, Niger, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, Liberia, Senegal and South Sudan. Through her work, she empowers thousands of youth with the ability to enhance their livelihoods and employability.
Previously, Mulugeta was a department head and lecturer at Adama Science and Technology University.
Mulugeta has a Master’s Degree in Social Work and in Urban Design and Development from Addis Ababa University. She is fluent in English, French and Amharic.
