Nadia Foster is a community health expert, educational improvement leader, and community outreach and engagement specialist. She has extensive expertise in training and technical assistance (TA), program and project management, continuous improvement, public health, PK–12 student success, family and community engagement, and research and evaluation. She is deeply committed to equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Foster advances EDC’s educational equity, public health, and behavioral health work. She is contributing to two municipal public health initiatives focused on mental health first-aid training and youth prevention. In addition, she is guiding the successful implementation of a middle school STEM pathway program and providing TA on school culture, student achievement, and deep learning to a charter high school leadership team.

Previously, Foster held positions as a community engagement and outreach leader specializing in health equity and education reform throughout Massachusetts. 

Foster received an MSW in Child Welfare Studies with a concentration in Community Organizing and Non-profit Management from Boston University.
