Nora van Wassenaer is an experienced quantitative and qualitative researcher with strong statistical analysis and project management skills. Her research interests include early learning and cognition, educational technology, and STEM education. She has expertise in survey research, survey design, SPSS Statistics, literature reviews, program evaluation, and data visualization.
Van Wassenaer is advancing the goals of EDC’s Data Paths initiative. She is also a researcher for REL-Northeast & Islands at EDC and contributes to EDC’s evaluation of Illinois’s 21st Century Community Learning Center Program. Recently, she served as a researcher for EDC’s Young Mathematicians program.
Before joining EDC, van Wassenaer worked with an educational robotics start-up in the Netherlands, researching and developing a curriculum for students in grades 7 and 8.
Van Wassenaer holds an MS in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is fluent in Dutch and English.
