Tim Haskell is an EDC project director providing technical and logistical home office support for international youth livelihood development and basic education projects. Over the past 15 years, he has also supported EDC education projects in Timor Leste, Ghana, Mali, South Sudan, Nigeria, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Niger, and Kosovo.
Haskell has extensive experience implementing holistic international youth and workforce development and basic education projects, with a focus on sustainability. He brings innovative approaches in key elements, such as system strengthening, local capacity building, subgrant management, and private sector engagement, to the projects he manages.
Previously, Haskell served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger focusing on rural development. He was also a team leader with AmeriCorps’ National Civilian Community Corps, where he led a team of youth volunteers on a variety of community service projects in the western region of the United States.
Haskell holds an MA in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management and a BS in Ecology and Evolution from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
